Professor of Sustainable Real Estate

Sarah is currently part-time Professor of Sustainable Real Estate at the Royal Agricultural University and a consultant researcher. For many years she headed the School of Surveying & Planning at Kingston University where she is now Professor Emeritus.
A Chartered Surveyor by qualification, Sarah’s main research field is sustainability and the valuation of property, both commercial and, more recently, residential. Additionally, she has undertaken research in both spatial planning and professional education. She has sat on several industry working groups reporting to UK government and she is currently adviser to the property working group of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance initiative (UNEP-FI). Her latest book, Developing Property Sustainably (co-authored with Wilkinson and Christensen), was published in 2015.
